Hi my name is Rebecca Fitzgerald. I am a single mom of 4 wonderful children ages 12, 11, 8 and 4. I have really hit hard times in the last year. I dont get any help from the father.. In Oct of this year I suffered a seizure and almost died. I havent had a paycheck since then because the doctors love to take their time with paperwork. With Christmas being only 3 weeks away, I dont know what to do. I'm so afraid my children wont get a christmas. Do you know anyone who offers help? Or do you know of any programs that could assist?

I have never had to turn to anything like this, so its very hard for me. I dont know where to start or who to turn to. Thank you for any info or help...

I just want to start by saying thank you for reading my post , I am in a bad way. I have to come up with alot of money to pay my electric bill. I have two girls and a great Husband. I was a stay at home Mom and care giver for my Mother until she passed 3 yrs ago which is why we are in the space where we are now. When I was home taken care of her my sister and brothers paid me 400 a month and my mother paid my ground rent which was 300 at that time. Well when she passed we start the new year off in the whole,by 700 dollars then about 3 months later I was working and had a stroke so that really hurt us.I was working in a warehouse and when they found out that I had a stroke they said that there was nothing that I could do there since it was all heavy lifting. Now I am woking but we are so in the rear that we cant get back on top they came and turned off our electric but I was able to get it back on but only for 50 days we are try everything we know to come up with the money for the bill but it is now at 8000. so there is no way that we can come up with it so if there is any thing that someone can tell me or can help me with this please let me know
